Run 3

Run 3

How to Play Run 3

Your character starts running the instant a level loads; there is no run key. You only steer and jump. Left Arrow or A slides you left. Right Arrow or D slides you right. Walk into a wall and that wall becomes the floor, so a hole that sat under your feet is now a hole in the wall beside you.

Up Arrow, Space, or W jumps a gap. A short tap keeps the hop low so you land sooner. Hold the key if you need height. Fall through a missing tile and that level restarts from the start. When you reach the last platform of a tunnel, a large void sits in front of you — jump into that void to close the line on the galaxy map.

Explore Mode is that map: the Main Tunnel plus the side tunnels that branch off it. Beat Level 3 there and Infinite Mode unlocks in Run 3. Infinite Mode then feeds you premade levels in a random order and tracks meters plus power cells. Open this page from Dune Dash, press Play, and stay in Explore until that Level 3 clear is done.

Do not jump every hole. Rotate first. A heavy character on crumbling tiles knocks the floor out. The Bunny cannot stop jumping, so leave it locked until you can land a bounce on purpose.

Run 3 Controls

Left Arrow or A strafes left, and holding that input into a wall turns that wall into the floor. Right Arrow or D does the same on the right. Up Arrow, Space, or W is the jump. W is not a forward key; you already run.

Action Key
Run forward Automatic — no key
Strafe left / rotate onto the left wall Left Arrow or A
Strafe right / rotate onto the right wall Right Arrow or D
Jump Up Arrow, Space, or W
Low hop Tap jump, then release
Gentleman magnet Hold jump near a power cell
Student gravity flip Press jump again while airborne
Angel dash / slow the glide Dash in mid-air; tap jump after the dash to slow down

A box in the path can stop you; nothing else lets you stand still. Left and right still work in the air, so you can catch a new wall before you drop. If you want a page where A and D steer a car instead of a tunnel wall, that is Escape Road 2.

Run 3 Characters and What Each One Does

Runner is unlocked on the first load, and nine more characters join through Explore clears or the Power Cell shop.

  • Runner. She is already unlocked on Level 1. She has the strongest all-around stats, and her strafe is quicker on the ground; tap jump for a low hop so you land sooner.
  • Skater. Beat Main Tunnel Level 10, or buy him with power cells. He is fast, his jump is low, and his strafe is weak; hit a ramp when you need height from that speed.
  • Lizard. Beat Level 40, or buy it with power cells. It is slow with a high jump, and it cannot jump low, so every hop is a commit.
  • Bunny. Earn 8 achievements, or buy it with power cells. It is the fastest of the ten, it jumps high, and it cannot stop jumping; each bounce adds a little speed.
  • Child. Beat the Low-Power Tunnel, or buy him with power cells. He is slow, he falls slower still, and he is too light to knock crumbling tiles out.
  • Gentleman. The shop sells him for 2,000 power cells. Hold jump to pull yourself to a nearby power cell; he can also see power cells while you play Explore Mode.
  • Duplicator. Unlocks in the shop for power cells. Copies of him work as platforms or a respawn, those copies jump higher than he does, and you can swap places with one.
  • Pastafarian. Unlocks in the shop for power cells. Her light bridge fills gaps near solid tiles and gets stronger when you run on it; drift too far from real tiles and the bridge fades.
  • Student. Unlocks in the shop for power cells. Her speed, jump, and strafe sit at the bottom of the ten; press jump again in mid-air to flip gravity onto the opposite wall.
  • Angel. Unlocks in the shop for power cells. He dashes in mid-air and glides after the dash; tap jump after a dash to slow that glide, and dash into a ramp to restore the dash.

Tunnel and Level Guide

The Main Tunnel is 65 levels, labeled Level 1 through Level 65 on the galaxy map. That line starts at the planet and is the one you run first. Low-Power Tunnel, part 1 branches off Main Tunnel Level 28 and is the first place tiles dim, blink, or go dark while still solid. Beat Low-Power if you want the Child without buying him.

G-Tunnel, M-Tunnel, and L-Tunnel also branch off the Main Tunnel. A-Tunnel branches out of B-Tunnel. New Tunnel branches out of Low-Power. Some later lines sit detached from that tree and are treated as a path toward the Wormhole, including Level N-1.

Tiles change the run more than the tunnel name does. Crumbling tiles fall when a character who is not the Child puts enough weight on them, and adjacent crumbling tiles follow. Ice raises your top speed and weakens your strafe while you stand on it. A box is 3D; you can change gravity on its sides. Glow tiles stay visible in the dark. Fast conveyors shove you forward. Slow conveyors shove you back. Left and right conveyors shove you sideways and rotate the tunnel 18 degrees. Early Main Tunnel levels are four-sided, so a wall-to-floor rotate is obvious. Later levels add more sides — a hexagon at six walls — and the rotate feels closer to running around a circle. Darkness stays out of the Main Tunnel and shows up in Low-Power and other side tunnels.

Run 3 Infinite Mode Tips

Infinite Mode stays locked until you beat Level 3 in Explore Mode. After that unlock, it plays premade levels in a random order. It does not generate a new tunnel from scratch. Travel far enough and those same levels repeat, so the run cannot be “won.” Meters sit at the top left. Power cells sit on the path; they show up more often and are worth more as that meter climbs.

One fall ends the run. You can spend 10 power cells on the first continue and swap to another character you already own. If you spawn on a chosen character and die inside the first 15 meters, the game can throw you a free do-over with the line “Whoops! Let's pretend that didn't happen.” A second fall, or a bad respawn, ends it.

Start Infinite Mode as the Runner. Switch to the Child when crumbling tiles appear. Use the Gentleman when you are hunting power cells; a common shop route is to push toward 2,000 meters on someone else, then continue as him. Leave the Bunny for later: it never stops jumping. Rotate a gap away before you jump it. Power cells from a long Run 3 Infinite run buy the shop characters.

Run 3 vs Run 2

Run 2 ships with only two playable characters: the Runner and the Skater. Each one has a separate level set, and progress does not carry across those sets. Run 2 does not use tiles. It has no Infinite Mode. Collectibles there are glowing yellow bonuses that unlock extra levels.

Run 3 puts both of them back on tiled tunnel floors and adds eight more characters with their own rules. Explore Mode and the galaxy map exist only in this sequel. Infinite Mode returns here as a shuffle of premade levels, not as Run 2 content. Power cells replace those yellow bonuses and pay for the shop. Crumbling, ice, box, glow, and conveyor tiles sit under your feet; Run 2 had none of those tile rules. Finish a Run 2 level by reaching the end of a platform set. Finish a tunnel here by jumping into the void after the last tile.

FAQ

Is Run 3 free?

You do not pay to press Play on this page. Power cells you pick up in Infinite Mode only spend inside the in-game shop for characters and upgrades.

Can I play Run 3 unblocked?

You play in this browser tab after Play; there is no installer. If the school filter already blocks this domain, this page cannot jump that filter.

What is Infinite Mode?

Beat Level 3 in Explore Mode and Infinite Mode appears on the menu. It plays premade levels in a random order, counts meters, and drops power cells. One fall ends the run unless you spend 10 power cells to continue as another character you own.

Which character is best?

Runner has the strongest all-around stats and is already unlocked, so start with her. Switch to the Child on crumbling tiles. Use the Gentleman when you are farming power cells. The Bunny is the fastest of the ten and never stops jumping.
