Dune Dash Controls
Space or Up Arrow jumps, and a click or a tap on the canvas is the same input. There is no left key, no right key, and no duck. You already run; the white runner stays at a fixed spot on the sand while the dunes scroll.
| Action | Input |
|---|---|
| Jump | Space, Up Arrow, click, or tap |
| Higher second jump | Two jump inputs within 320ms while you are in the air |
| Move left / right | None — you auto-run |
| Duck | None |
| Start from the title | Jouer, or jump |
| Restart after a hit | Rejouer only |
A second jump only fires if the two inputs land inside that 320ms window and you have not already used the extra hop. Two slow taps in the air do nothing. After a crash, Space and Up stop working; the overlay wants the Rejouer button. W is not a jump key here. If you want a page where W also hops, that is Run 3.
How to Play Dune Dash
The start overlay prints “Saute par-dessus les obstacles. Double-clique en l’air pour un 2e saut plus haut,” then a Jouer button. Press it or tap jump and you auto-run. SCORE sits at the top left. MEILLEUR sits at the top right and stores your best run.
Red cacti and grey rocks sit on the ground. Hit one without a shield and the run ends. After 8 seconds, white birds fly in above you; stay on the sand and they pass over, but a jump can clip them. After 16 seconds, two cacti can spawn as a pair. Gold coins add 15 to SCORE. SCORE also adds 10 for every second you stay alive.
A spinning gold star wraps you in a ring for 4 seconds. During those 4 seconds a cactus, a rock, or a bird is destroyed instead of ending the run. The first star can appear after 6 seconds. There is no shop and no extra runner to unlock. Open this page from Dune Dash Games, press Play, then Jouer.
Tips for a Higher Score
SCORE adds 10 for every second you stay off a cactus, a rock, or a bird, and each gold coin adds 15. Skip a coin if the next cactus is already under it. One hit still ends a dune dash run unless the star ring is up.
Do not hop at every bird. They spawn above the standing runner, so a jump meant for a cactus can clip the bird. Stay on the sand for that one, then jump the next ground obstacle. For a cactus pair after 16 seconds, fire the second input inside 320ms while you are still going up. You fall faster than you rise, and a late tap will not count as the higher hop.
Take the star even if you skip coins. The 4-second ring is the only way a hit does not end the run. After “Meilleur score,” click Rejouer; mashing Space on that overlay does nothing. If you want a hold-or-release score chase instead of this jump, open Drift Boss.
Dune Dash vs Chrome Dinosaur
Chrome’s offline dinosaur also auto-runs and uses Space or Up to hop cacti. That game gives you Down to duck under pterodactyls. This one has no duck key at all. Birds here are a jump-or-stay choice, not a crawl.
The dinosaur has no coin and no star. Your SCORE in Dune Dash is time at 10 per second plus 15 per coin, and the star’s 4-second ring deletes the obstacle you hit. Chrome has no second jump. Here the extra hop is a 320ms double input in the air, printed on the Jouer screen as “Double-clique en l’air pour un 2e saut plus haut.” Restart here is the Rejouer button, not Space. Do not press Down looking for a duck — that key is unused.
FAQ
Is Dune Dash free?
Gold coins only add 15 to SCORE. They do not buy a runner, a map, or a shop item, because this build has no shop. You do not pay to press Play on this page.
Can I play Dune Dash unblocked?
You play Dune Dash in this browser tab after Play; there is no installer. Jouer, Space, Up, and Rejouer work in that window. If the school filter already blocks this domain, this page cannot jump that filter.
Is there a no-ads version?
There is no separate paid no-ads download or APK for this run. You start from the Play button on this URL. Coins bump SCORE; they do not buy an ad-removal pass. MEILLEUR is the only save.
